**CANCELLED Easter Camp**

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 crisis we have had to cancel our Easter Camp this year. Appologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your support in these hard times.

Summer Camp 2020

Reluctantly we have had to make the decision to cancel the summer camp due to the ongoing health crisis of Covid-19. For those who have booked we will process refunds as soon as possible, though Chris has been stuck abroad and has only just been able to get home and is currently in quarantine.

How the camp is designed…

The summer camp is run as a progressive 5 day course across the week. The timetable is very similar week to week, though coaches obviously adapt to the group.

It is particularly important for under 12s, that if you are booking less than 5 days, to please book from the Monday and not start in the middle of the week. This will mean that girls dont miss the basics or disrupt the flow for the rest of the group. If you are booking various days across different weeks, please start with a  Monday.

(In Week 3 it is fine to start on the Tuesday if you cannot make the Bank holiday.)

Which week to choose?

Week 1

(10th to 14th)

Especially good for beginners as the staffing ratio is particularly high.

There is a focus on individual skills in the upper age groups this week and the oportunity to really get your eye back in to lacrosse.

Week 2

(17th to 21st)

Still great for beginners.

Often numerous squads; why not try to get 10 or more players together from your school and come as a squad.

High coaching ratio due to new coaches training.

Week 3

(24th to 28th)

As our biggest week it is usually the best socially.

Most girls are back from holiday and are keen to get ready for the new season of lacrosse. It always promises to be a fun, busy week.

Week 4

(31st Aug to 4th Sept)

(including Bank Holiday)

Due to varied start dates for schools, we’ve decided to run a 4th week. This gives an opportunity for girls not starting back until the following week to get some extra coaching in.

At the camp

We have sticks for purchase from £70.

We also have a number of sicks to borrow, however if your daughter is starting lacrosse at school it is well worth buying a stick, to get used to and wear in through the week.

We will sell and help fit cheap and cheerful mouthguards (£3.50).

UK Lacrosse will come one day each week, giving advice about stringing and repairing of sticks, as well as selling lacrosse goods.

TS Hattersleys will also come a couple of days, selling lacrosse equipment and kit.

Excel Sports run a multi-sports camp at the same venue through the summer – perhaps younger siblings would enjoy it while your daughter does lacrosse.

The venue runs a tuck shop at break times.
